Payments and Refund Policy

This Payments and Refund Policy explains how payments, subscriptions, beta access, and refunds are handled on the Local Toy Makers platform (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing services or subscribing to premium listings, you agree to the following terms.

Payment Terms

Premium listings and add-on services (such as marketing support or event promotion) are paid offerings. Payment is due in full at the time of upgrade or renewal. All transactions are processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal.

Failure to complete payment will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of premium access
  • Downgrading to a free basic listing without notice
  • Removal of premium-only features from your profile

There is no grace period for unpaid listings.

Beta Tester Access

Users who signed up during our beta period and were granted beta tester status are entitled to full access to all current and future premium features for the lifetime of the platform, at no cost.

To maintain beta tester status, users must:

  • Maintain an active listing
  • Adhere to our Terms of Service and community guidelines

If a beta tester deletes their listing or violates platform policies, their lifetime premium access may be revoked at our discretion.

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • System outages or downtime due to hosting providers, payment processors, or third-party integrations
  • User error or misuse of the platform
  • Removal of listings due to violations of our Terms of Service

If you experience a billing error or believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us within 7 days of the charge at hello@localtoymakers.com.

Feature Availability

We reserve the right to change, update, or discontinue features as needed to improve the platform. Access to premium tools may be modified, relocated, or replaced with equivalent functionality over time. Users are not entitled to refunds due to changes in feature configuration.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in:

  • Suspension or deletion of your account
  • Permanent loss of access to both free and premium features
